Reading the labels
Each card shows a tier badge. Instant edit means ordinary image arithmetic with nothing to download. On-device AI means a small model is downloaded once and then runs on your device. Advanced · faster with a GPU means a heavier model that works everywhere but is noticeably quicker where your browser offers WebGPU.
The download size for each model is shown in the editor before anything is fetched, and the Model manager page lists them all.
The categories
Tools are grouped by what you are trying to get done.
- Background: cut the subject out, then remove, replace, blur, recolor or fade what is behind it.
- Enhance & restore: brighten, correct color, sharpen and enlarge.
- Remove & fix: erase distractions, straighten documents and crop to shape.
- Portrait: ID photos, avatars and hiding faces.
- Product photos: listing sizes and brand colors.
- Create & design: stickers and pencil sketches.
Only tools that work
Every tool listed here is working today. Heavier jobs, such as photorealistic image generation, need models too large to run well on a device, so they are not offered. They will only appear if they can run on the device itself.
